I'm Liam Greenall, and drama education is at the heart of everything I do. As an education leader and creative strategist, I've spent two decades championing drama as an essential cornerstone of a school’s curriculum, watching countless students find their voice, confidence, and creativity through performance.

In 2016, that passion crystallised into Black Box Education. What began as a mission to design meaningful resources and learning environments soon blossomed into something remarkable. Our resources now inspire learning in thousands of schools across the globe, connecting with theatre companies, educational organisations, and governments worldwide that share the vision.

When I designed the first Theatre Journal for my IB Theatre students back in 2016, I never imagined it would become the spark that ignited everything.

Here's what I believe: drama education exists to empower. Every lesson should spark imagination, every activity should build confidence, and every resource should serve the brilliant educators who make magic happen in drama learning environments around the globe.

To celebrate ten years of Black Box Education, we’re opening a new chapter with a fresh collection of free toolkits, guides and interactive learning tools. With renewed energy and purpose, we’re collaborating with fellow arts educators to create practical, inspiring resources that put our shared belief in the power of drama into action.

The curtain has risen on this new era, and I'm thrilled to be working alongside educators worldwide who believe, as I do, that drama changes lives.
