OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
We’re looking for thoughtful, creative, and passionate contributions that explore the many ways drama and theatre inspires learning, reflection, and connection. Whether it’s the thrill of live performance, the discovery of a new practitioner, or the lessons learned backstage, we want to hear from you.
Who Can Submit
Drama students — secondary or tertiary level — guided by their teachers.
Drama teachers who wish to share insights, experiences, or research.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome a wide range of written and visual pieces, including but not limited to:
Theatre Reviews — Responses to school productions, and professional live theatre
Play Explorations — Creative or analytical looks at text, staging, and interpretation.
Practitioner Spotlights — Articles or reflections on drama theorists and directors
Theatre History Features — Engaging explorations of moments, movements, or figures from global theatre heritage.
World Theatre Traditions — Insightful pieces on performance practices around the world
Creative Features — Design sketches, rehearsal journals, or
If it deepens students' understanding of drama, theatre and performance, we want to see it!
Submission Details
Written pieces: up to 1,200 words (flexible for exceptional work).
Visual submissions (set/costume designs, performance photos, etc.) should include explanatory captions.
Please ensure all student work is supervised and accompanied by teacher contact details.
